Fluorescence Microscopy
Complementary to atomic force microscopy experiments, fluorescence microscopy provides a means to track dynamics of biomolecular systems a high temporal resolution. To this end, we make use of confocal microscopy facilities at the London Centre for Nanotechnology. For single-molecule ("super") resolution, we carry out total internal reflection fluorescence (TIRF) microscopy experiments in joint projects with Alan Lowe at UCL and with Justin Molloy at the Francis Crick Institute.
