Anna Scheeder
Anna is a post-doctoral researcher in Bart Hoogenboom’s lab, where she studies bacterial surfaces and the impact of antibiotics using atomic force microscopy. Her scientific path began in Germany with a Bachelor's in Biology, where she focused on Neurosciences and malaria vectors. She then pursued a Master’s in Biomedical Engineering in Switzerland, diving into Tissue Engineering, Microfluidics, and the use of magnetic microparticles to modulate breast cancer. Shifting her focus again, she moved to the UK to join a CDT program in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, where she completed a PhD exploring nanoparticles, super-resolution microscopy, and bacteria.
In her free time Anna enjoys arts, cooking, and outdoor activities. |
